Wood is a special material that sometimes requires some TLC. See below for tips on how to take care of the item that you have brought into your home/office.

About Wood:
Even though the wood is dry now, you should keep in mind that wood is a natural material that is prone to move with changes in humidity and temperature.
If this occurs, it’s often unnoticeable, but it may cause the wood to warp and shift, or even in worst cases, crack. For this reason,  it's important to try and keep the wood pieces in an environment that is relatively stable in temperature and humidity, and to nurture it with some TLC upon occasion.

Care and nurturing of your wood:
Wood should never be submerged in water, microwaved, or placed in the dishwasher. The best way to care for a wood product is to wipe it with a slightly damp cloth, and then towel dry immediately. If it dulls over time, simply polish with mineral or walnut oil, and beeswax,  and it will regain its original lustre and beauty!
